The Taikoo Place - One Island East project is expected to be completed by mid of February 2025. 2024 December – New Project Release Famous 858-room Hotel has appointed 8T as an UC/PABX & Call Centre Service Provider Adjacent to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, the 858-room famous harbour view hotel showcases panoramic views overlooking Victoria Harbour. Engaging but unpretentious, this unique hotel offers a quality of service, amenities and inviting atmosphere associated with lifestyle hotels. In November, 8T was appointed to continue provide the best-in-class maintenance service to the hotel’s Alcatel-Lucent communication system of which integrate with hospitality applications with call centre and mobility solution so that staff can focus on being productive and managing guest experiences. The LED Wall project is expected to be completed by mid of Sept 2024. 2024 June – New Project Release A Famous Chinese Insurance Company has appointed 8T to provide Audio-Visual and UC Solutions at SHK Center Customer is the first domestic insurance company to be approved by the China Banking and Insurance Regulatory Commission (CBIRC) and incorporated in Hong Kong. Its parent company, China Life Reinsurance Company Ltd. The ELV project is expected to be completed by end of Aug 2024. 2024 June – New Project Release Provisioning of UC Solutions for a Government Council at Landmark South, Wong Chuk Hang With reference to the New Project Release of 8T on April 2023, the Government Council has appointed 8T again to provide UC Solutions to their office at Landmark South, Wong Chuk Hang. The Government Council has deployed a new IPT system while they moved to their new office at Landmark South, Wong Chuk Hang one year ago. However, they found the IPT system cannot fulfill their daily operation need and thus appointed 8T to provide a new UC solutions to fit their need. After a stringent tender selection in May, 8T was appointed to provide new UC Solutions with IT Infrastructure for the council new office at Landmark South, Wong Chuk Hang. The UC project is expected to be completed by early of Sep 2024. 2024 May – New Project Release One of Hong Kong Government Department has appointed 8T to provide Room Booking System for their Branch Office at Kowloon Bay A Hong Kong Government department responsible for inspection and enforcement of operation and safety of many electricity and gas installations, railways and trams, lifts and escalators. In May, 8T was appointed to provide Room Booking solutions to their branch office at Skyline Tower, Kowloon Bay involving office area around 22,000 sqft. After the successful completion of Agency Offices PABX & UC Replcament project on November 2023, the Insurance company has kick-off another project to build up a new training centre at Airside. The heart of the building of Airside is a 60,000 square-metre multi-story retail atrium filled with natured light, creating a specious community gathering and social space. Rising above the elevated garden is a tower containing 110,000 square meters of grade A office space. Together with nearby cultural and leisure facilities that are currently under construction, the building will become an anchor and public landmark for the area, helping attract start-ups, creatives enterprise and established businesses alike. In March, customer carried a careful process of assessment, 8T was appointed to provide professional AV and Wi-Fi Solutions for their office-revamp project at Metroplaza Tower II. After a careful tender process of assessment, the NGO has awarded 8T to provide design and build of Networking and Security Solution as well as UC/PABX, Wi-Fi System to serve around 120,000 sq.ft. floor area at their West Kowloon HQ Building. In 2023, the company has planned to change their existing aged PABX/UC system of their agency office with 3 locations among 11 storys, about 143,000 sft. office area, around 3,000 users at Canton Road, T.S.T. and has issued a tender via a well-known Project Management company in this regard. The tenderer should propose a state-of-art PABX/UC system with user friendly mobility application and feasibility to centralize other agency office user into this single system. Furthmore, the project required a seamless changeover that 3,000 users to be changeover to the new system by 4 weekends with the least interruption.
