The project features Stride, a renowned premium student hostel brand built around a singular, powerful idea: giving residents a curated environment where safety, study, fitness, and friendship are completely taken care of. By handling these lifestyle essentials, Stride enables students to focus fully on their academic degrees and their lives in Hong Kong.
Situated in Wong Chuk Hang, one of Hong Kong's most dynamic and convenient destinations, Stride offers an effortless commute. The property is located just a short, flat, two-minute walk from the Wong Chuk Hang MTR station. From there, students are only minutes away from major academic and commercial hubs, including the University of Hong Kong (HKU), Admiralty, Central, and Causeway Bay—ensuring less time commuting and more time for everything else.
In July 2026, following a rigorous and strategic assessment process, 8T has been officially appointed to provide a suite of advanced Wi-Fi systems for a flagship student housing development managed by HK Student Accommodation Management Co. Limited.

Empowering Communication: 8T Selected to Deliver Advanced Alcatel-Lucent UC/PABX Solutions for Renowned Insurance Group
Established in Hong Kong in 1992 and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bank of China Limited since late 2003, our client is a premier general insurer with a robust market presence. Boasting over two decades of steady expansion, a powerful sales network, and a solid financial position, the company operates four branches, one subsidiary, and three affiliates. They hold operation licenses for all 17 types of general insurance authorized by the Insurance Authority of Hong Kong, offering a comprehensive suite of insurance products to the market.
Following a highly stringent selection process in June, 8T was proudly appointed to deploy an advanced Alcatel-Lucent Unified Communications (UC) and PABX system, alongside comprehensive professional maintenance services, for the client’s Hong Kong offices. The project spans across the iconic BOC Tower and Wing On House, encompassing a total floor area of approximately 39,000 sq. ft.

Following a rigorous selection process, 8T was appointed to deploy a comprehensive suite of advanced technology solutions for WH Group's headquarters at 76/F and 82/F, International Commerce Centre (ICC), West Kowloon. The extensive project scope includes the implementation of cutting-edge Audio-Visual (AV) systems, PABX systems, Network Switches, high-end cabling systems with structured cable racks, and robust Access Control systems.

We are proud to announce the successful migration of the communication infrastructure for Prudential Hong Kong’s agency office at The Gateway, Harbour City.

In June, our team seamlessly transitioned the office from a legacy NEC PBX system to a state-of-the-art Alcatel-Lucent Unified Communications (UC) platform. This achievement marks a significant milestone in our decade-long partnership with Prudential Hong Kong. Over the past 10 years, we have modernized the communication systems for nearly 5,000 users across 12 agency offices.
By proactively migrating their systems while the legacy network was still fully operational, Prudential Hong Kong demonstrated strategic foresight. This planned upgrade avoided the operational disruptions and financial risks associated with sudden system failures. The new Alcatel-Lucent UC system enhances collaboration capabilities and ensures high-quality service continuity for Prudential’s vast network of financial professionals.

In Febuary, customer carried a careful process of assessments, 8T was appointed to provide advanced UC/PABX & Network Systems with Call Centre Solutions to one of GDH's famous hotel, The Wharney Guang Dong Hotel (Hong Kong).
